To enter the chart editor, click on the
🖊-button on the right side of your chart block. In the editor, create a new trace by clicking on the blue
+ Trace button at the top right.
You can now select one of the queries in your notebook as the
datasource for your new trace and the columns of your query result that shall be displayed on the
x- and y-axes.
To make your visuals fit to the data that they display, you can choose between a range of different graph types in the
Type section of your new trace.
To get a more differentiated look at your data, it can be helpful to group it by different categories.
Query.me makes this easy with the built-in
split function in the chart editor.
To add a new split, go into the
Transforms-menu that you can find on the left side of the editor.
Click on the
+ Transform-button and choose
Split from the available transformation options to add a split to your selected trace. Using the popped up input field, you can now choose by what category you want to group/split your data.
